Here's my character from =K-Lynnette's OC tourney... Yeah, I know I already have a reference sheet for her... but I wanted to do another one. So there.

Name: Mikka Luriel Anullus
Age: 146 years (being an elf, that's pretty young... like 25 in human years)
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 120 lbs.
Body-type: Athletic
Hair: Magenta
Eyes: Green

So a little backstory about Mikka. Obviously, she's an elf. She lives in a post-apocalyptic world that exists parallel to ours. Magic is a very strong part of that world. Mikka, however, despite coming from a long line of wizards and sorcerers, has embraced science and technology. She holds firmly to the belief that anything sorcery can do, science can do better. Her home is in a large, treaded vehicle that she built, resembling an oversized tank without a gun. She lives with her husband, Arkady, who nearly died twenty years ago. He would have unless Mikka had put him into suspended animation until she could construct a robotic exoskeleton to keep him alive. She gets most of the parts for her machines from the abandoned cities that litter the wasteland that used to be the world.

Mikka has at her disposal a number of her own inventions that she uses to dispatch the undead that inhabit the scrapyards, hospitals, and factories she scavenges for materials. Here's what she usually carries on her:

A- Quicksilver sword. The blade usually holds the shape of a long, straight scimitar. When swung, it elongates up to fifteen feet; the faster the swing, the longer and thinner it gets until it resembles a razor sharp ribbon. It compacts when it's sheathed in the top compartment in her backpack.

B- Various chemical vials. The white variety share properties with holy water, the black with cursed water, and the red violently combusts when exposed to air.

C- Energy buckler. When active, a two-foot wide disc of blue energy provides as much protection as a steel shield. It can be pierced, but it requires an extreme amount of force concentrated in very tiny area. A high-velocity bullet could theoretically do this, but all of its power would be expended in getting through the shield, and would fall to the ground harmlessly on its exit.

D- Gravity shoes. They enable Mikka to "skate" across any surface as if on ice, no matter how rough the terrain. She hovers about 4 inches off the ground when they're active. They do not, however, allow her to walk across empty space (holes, chasms, from rooftop to rooftop, etc.).

More fun stuff will be revealed about Mikka in the tourney, if I make it past the audition stage. If I don't... well, I'll be sad. Lemme know what you think thus far.
