It's been a while since I've done any fanart. This was a lot of fun!
This is fanart of Cave Story, or Doukutsu Monogatari, by Studio Pixel. It's a super fun, fairly challenging platformer with simple controls and Metroid-style gameplay. You can get it here [link] , or I think there's a version for PSP and a WiiWare version. It's so good! I also found this site with remixes of the game's lovely soundtrack: [link] . I totally recommend at least giving this game a fair shake, especially if you liked Super Metroid.

Maaan, rescuing Curly was such a pain. Impossible to figure out without the help of the Walkthrough.
Toroko actually died? Didn't figure that out till I read it later. That's just tragic! But then again, it kinda sets the tone for the darker backstory that reveals itself later on. This story kinda reminds me of a modern version of "Bone"
Just started my 2'nd playthrough. Planning to get the Spur this time. Had the Nemesis and Snake in the first playthrough.
Aiming to try out Sacred grounds, even though I had to use the life pot on the final quadrouple(?) boss fight.
